- My name is Christine Marie Chen. I have two beautiful children and a lot of yarn! I'm a knitwear designer with patterns being published through knitting magazines, yarn companies and Ravelry. Reading and knitting are like therapy to me! Both help me to unwind after a busy and hectic day! Originally from Oklahoma, I have traveled worldwide and I now eat, sleep, knit and design from my home in the San Francisco Bay Area. That is so adorable. My kids thing, is they like climbing into the last row of the book shelf? Yikes! It's big and it is bracketed (sp?), and heavy so it won't fall. But same as you. I had to take all the books from the last shelf. Why my kids like to climb in that last row, I will never know. Hmm, kids are so interesting aren't they? : )
