Welcome to the ALL NEW "Monkey Baby ...going green" (Formerly known as the Monkey Baby Boutique blog). This site has been dormant for quite awhile as my life took a turn in a different direction. My children are growing up and I've been focusing on designing knitwear.
Recently I've done some thinking about continuing on with this site, and it has led me to a total makeover! I will continue to post tips on going green and creating a healthier you, healthier home and a healthier planet! But I will also be including information on sustainable knitwear created by myself and others. Please leave your comments and let me know what you think of the NEW look!

Play Dates and Potty Training

We've just gotten back from our play date/lunch date with my friend Mary. My daughter and her daughter are only a few months apart in age, so they really get along well... And the one on one "mommy time" is also a rare treat for me!
Anyways, this blog may actually morph into more than just my kid's everyday antics, as long as you don't mind a peek into my personal life! I'm thinking about sharing info on some of my recent discoveries, fresh new toddler and baby products, and sensitive topics, along with some of our daily struggles... Right now I'm on a hunt to find Potty Training methods... My friend Mary potty trained all three of her children using the Potty Training in Less Than a Day method as seen on Dr Phil. There's also a book by the same title which I may have to get! She actually used the book. Sound to good to be true? Well, it worked for her, so I think I may have to give it a shot! My daughter turned 3 in April and it's still a daily struggle with her! Does anyone out there have any other tips or ideas?

I really dig that your blog is going to be about, things like your kid's everyday antics, as well as a glimpse or two of your own life as well. I try to do the same and I *really* enjoy reading blogs like this a lot! As for sharing, new toddler and baby products, please do! I would love to read about new products. Because it's hard for me to be up to date with me living in Japan. I find a lot of times, when I go back to the US, I am so far out of the loop, you wouldn't believe it.: )

Hi Gina! Thanks for commenting! I LOVE your blog as well! It's awesome the way you've photographed so many memories! I need to start doing that! I think I'll start carrying my digital camera with me 24/7 (just incase)... Oh and BTW, your kids are adorable!
